February Property Pillars Members Meet Up took place on Friday 28th February at the Pullman Hotel where 25 or so professionals gathered. The Meeting was opened by the Host Ms. Toyin Davidson-Ero who explained how the Club was formed, what it had achieved in 12 months and where it was looking to go. She touched on her background in law and how that has now helped her as a Trainer to Investors. She explained how her Training Programme had received amazing reviews and that she was now taking bookings for more one to one training sessions.

Toyin also welcomed new Members and new Leaders to the Club. She invites people to join the Club and explained the benefits of membership.
As this Event was a Drinks and Networking Evening, all the Attendees were given the opportunity to speak and introduce themselves. We took turns to go round the room and explain where we were in the property and what we were ambitious to achieve and what challenges we faced.
One of the Attendees was Mr. Deji. He explained that he came from an IT background and that having joined the Club some 8 months ago he has been inspired to take action. He has since then signed up for a full mentorship programme to accelerate his property training.
Another Attendee was Mr. Peter Morakinyo. He is a seasoned Property Developer who spoke about his background in Civil Engineering and how that helped shaped his career as a Property Developer. He spoke about some of the projects he was currently working on and how he was looking to partner with investors.
Another Attendee was Member Caroline she introduced herself as a ” Care Home Provider”. And had a property which she used as a Care Home. She said she was looking at her next project to build into another Care Home.
Lola …… another Attendee made us all laugh when she admitted her biggest problem was her ” Mindset” when she first started out in the property. She overcame this over time and today has a portfolio of properties and is doing her own Development. We all agreed we needed some of what Lola had. Lola has promised to share more with us about how she overcame her Mindset challenge. So watch out for Lola at the Next Meet Up.
There were various new faces at the Event including a gentleman called Samuel, Bradley, Andrew, Paul, Fayo, Margaret and a Fitness expert called Roselyn.
They all said that they had heard about the Club and just wanted to pop down to see what it was like. They all said it was a great Club and that they were inspired and happy to join.
We also heard from our Travel Agent Denise. Who has put together our itinerary for our Club Cruise in November? Toyin the Host finished the rounds of speeches as she spoke about future events.
“Dine With the Experts” Event is one. An evening of property training and fine dining with three experts. She encouraged all to sign up for this unique property training Evening. The Host Toyin also Introduced the New Property Pillars Club. ” Developers and Investors” Club. And explained how this platform would enable developers to present their projects to the ‘ Dragon’s Den ” of Investors. The first event will take place on Thurs 26th March at 6.30 pm at the Pullman Hotel. Here is the link to that Event.
The Host also informed Attendee that there was now a newly formed Branch of Property Pillars in Birmingham. Which would mirror the format as the London Club. Their first event takes place on Saturday 26 March 2020.
In Closing, the Host invited the attendees to buy drinks and continue the rest of the evening Networking with each other.
Attendees continue to chat for many hours later whilst enjoying their drinks.
